Expanding capacity. Elevating reliability.
Project Overview
PLC was recently contracted to complete detailed engineering and design for an Amine system expansion at a cryogenic gas plant located just outside Platteville, CO. This expansion involved designing a 250-gpm regeneration and 60 MMSCF gas treating system, adding a regen building, a thermal oxidizer, scrubber, hot oil heater, pumps, flash gas compressor, and electrical upgrades including a new transformer and MCC reconfiguration. PLC assembled a multidisciplinary team based in Texas and Colorado to provide quality engineering, design and documentation.
PLC provided full discipline Engineering and Design on this project and to further assist, they handled Procurement Management, Vendor Document Reviews, and Regulatory and Permitting. PLC identified critical tie-in points, supported shut down planning, developed work plans, and participated in HAZOP reviews and MOC processes.
