We are proud to highlight one of our recent fabrication efforts: the complete build and repurpose of 14 Delta V Control Panels for a major midstream automation project.
Project Overview
PLC Construction, Inc. provided full procurement, panel fabrication, wiring, testing, and shipping preparation for a fleet of Delta V Control Panels. Our scope included repurposing existing enclosures, building new panels from the ground up, and integrating all customer-supplied Delta V components to exact specification.
Scope of Work
Work included the addition and removal of components, layout updates, and conversion to new designations.
Fabrication of (9) New Control Panels
For the remaining new panels, our team:
- Procured all required materials (customer supplied Delta components)
- Fabricated each enclosure to match the approved exterior layout
- Built each interior subpanel according to the engineered interiordesign
- Installed all components listed in the BOM, including provided Delta V hardware
Wiring & Integration
- Complete wire routing, labeling, and termination for all field and control connections
- Verification of wiring accuracy and adherence to design standards
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Full energization and functional testing of each control panel
- Confirmation that all installed equipment meets performance and operational requirements
Final Preparation & Shipping
- Secure packing of each panel for safe transport
PLC Fabrication is located just forty miles outside Houston, Texas. Our total property size is eight acres. Three acres are developed, and the lay-down yard spans five acres.

- 2,100 sq. ft of office space
- 25,000 sq. ft fabrication shop space
- 12,000 sq. ft of crane served fabrication shop space
- One (1) 20’H/28’W Overhead Door and
Ten (10) 10’H/17’W side Overhead Doors
- Two (2) 10-ton 54’L Bridge overhead Crane w/ 20’-8” Hook Height (Ready) *Crane Capacity: 20,000 Pounds
- One (1) 20-ton 54’L Bridge overhead Crane w/ 30’-10” Hook Height (Ready) *Crane Capacity: 40,000 Pounds
