Project Overview
PLC proudly supported this gas plant project located in the heart of the Delaware Basin. This project included the design and integration of an RTAC based Power Management System, plant automation, and complete control system engineering from concept through commissioning and start-up.
PLC provided full engineering & commissioning and delivered a fully integrated, reliable control system that supports plant operations, communication across devices, and enhances long-term operability.
This project also includes comprehensive services- from administrative planning to engineering design support and full plant commissioning – ensuring all systems are validated optimized and ready for operations.
Highlighted Scope of Work
PLC developed a robust schedule and execution plan for this project. The scope included RTAC Engineering & Configuration, Control System Engineering, and Commissioning Services, the following are a few examples of PLC’s deliverables:
- Development of HMI screens
- Integration with SEL and non-SEL third-party equipment
- P&ID loop list and full I/O list
- System Architecture diagrams
- NJB (Network Junction Box) layouts and wiring
- Control system computer hardware setup & installation
- DCS/RTAC configuration, loading, setup, & testing
- Loop checks and Cause & Effect (C&E) functional testing
- On-Site vendor coordination for automated related systems
- Software backup collection & archival
